What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a SIM card integrated directly into devices like mobile phones. Users no longer require a physical SIM card; instead, they can effortlessly connect to any mobile carrier using the preloaded eSIM number on their smartphone. Simply set up a personal eSIM Plus account and select your preferred carrier.
How to activate eSIM on iOS?

iOS Configurations
Data Plan Settings
- Launch the eSIM Plus app and navigate to the “Internet” section. Choose your preferred Data Plan and proceed to payment by tapping “Pay”.
- For Data Plan Activation, you will need the SM DP+ Address and Activation Code.
- Next, go to your phone’s “Settings” app → “Mobile Data” → “Add Data Plan” → Scan the Operator’s QR Code or enter the Code → Select “Enter Details Manually”.
- Upon selecting “Enter Details Manually”, three fields will appear. Two of these fields are mandatory: SM DP+ Address and Activation Code. Type in the Data copied from the App, then tap “Next” followed by “Add Data Plan”.
APN Installation
- From the eSIM Plus App page where you earlier copied the SM DP+ Address and Activation Code, click on the APN field and copy the word “Internet”.
- Then, navigate to your phone’s “Settings” → “Mobile Data” → Select the “Data Plan” you previously created.
- Next, return to “Settings” → “Cellular Data Network” → In the “APN” field, paste the word copied from the “APN” field in the eSIM Plus app.
Data Roaming Activation
- Go to “Settings” → “Mobile Data” → Select your “Data Plan” → Turn “Data Roaming” on.

- Next, go to your phone “Settings” → “Connections” → “SIM-card Manager” → “Add cellular (mobile) plan” → Scan the operator’s QR Code or enter activation code.

- “Settings” → “Connections” → “Mobile Networks” → Turn “Data Roaming” on.
How does an eSIM work?
Both an eSIM and a physical SIM card function similarly. The key distinction is that an eSIM directly transmits data to the mobile carrier via the internet without intermediary internet service providers. This direct connection is facilitated by QR Codes and dedicated apps like eSIM Plus, eliminating the need for physical presence during eSIM activation.
How do I start using an eSIM?
Purchase an eSIM mobile Data Plan of your choice on our website or through the mobile app. Afterwards, you can decide whether to receive a personal QR Code (along with other relevant details) via email or have it displayed directly on your screen. Scan the QR Code or manually enter the Activation Code to activate the eSIM on your device. For further information, refer to the iOS and Android installation instructions provided above.
How do I renew my Data Plan subscription?
Upon purchasing a Data Plan, it remains active for 30 days from the purchase date. After this duration, your SIM card will automatically reactivate, given you have sufficient funds in your balance. You have the flexibility to auto-renew your balance through your subscription or to make manual one-off payments as needed. Should you face any issues while topping up, please contact our technical support at [email protected]. When reaching out, kindly include your eSIM Plus Account ID and a brief description of the issue.
Can I remove a Data Plan from my phone?
Absolutely! As an eSIM Plus user, you have the freedom to remove any purchased data plan. However, it's crucial to understand that once an unlimited data plan is deleted, it cannot be restored. Consequently, you would need to purchase a new plan to access the internet.
Given this, we recommend deleting a data plan from your device only under two circumstances:
- You have used up your mobile data;
- The plan has expired.
Can I use my data plan on another device?
Please note that the data plan you purchase is exclusive to the device used for its activation. Therefore, before proceeding, ensure your smartphone is eSIM-compatible.
Can I use the eSIM Plus app if my phone is locked to a specific mobile carrier?
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to activate an eSIM Plus data plan on your smartphone if it’s locked to a specific mobile carrier. In this case, the only way to gain access to our services is to ask your mobile carrier to unlock your device. Once unlocked, you'll gain full access to any eSIM Plus data plan of your choice!
